At the moment we haven't bothered with much ... As I knew we'd be moving
about. We have futons for couches, no bedroom sets, no dressers, no
armoirs, no coffee table, not even a dinette set. We eat outdoors on our
patio furniture, or in the kitchen at an outdoor bar height square table
on these fabulous outdoor bar stools/chairs.

Once we are in the new house - we'll probably adopt a sort of southern
type feel, especially since the place has trey ceilings, columns,
hardwood floors and chandeliers. It's typically "southern" in many ways.

Some nice wood furniture mixed with "soft" furniture.

I've always love wood of all kinds (howie - keep your comments to
yourself :P) ... But really love light woods, not dark.
I like things uncluttered though - so barely any knicknacks, a few
bronzes, lots of wall paintings (several of my own).

I have a solid wood table that we recently aquired that I'm going to
strip the stain off of, and re-finish natural. I'm REALLY picky about
chairs and will probably take ages to find fabulous heavy solid wood
chairs. Even if they need to be stripped or painted or re-upholstered. I
hate almost ALL new furniture except couches. I'd love a huge, light
colored micro-fabric sectional couch.

I ABHOR wallpaper. Prefer nice soothing solid paint. No weird sponging
or anything.

Ah yes ... Furniture ...

Cheers,
Erika
