Hypothetically, if the drugstore's (invoking the corporation as an
entitiy) policy is to stock and sell the pills, I'd say the pharmacist
was fired for cause. While they may argue a case of wrongful
dismissal, I don't think that a court would entertain a suit based on
discrimination, given these parameters.

Hypothetically, I believe that the ACLU would probably side with the
original customer, but a suit against the drugstore as a defendant
would be mitigated by the fact that they fired the offending
pharmacist.
