Absolutely. Monkeys, while being very intelligent compared to other
animals, are not on par with the intelligence of a human being.
Suggesting a race is comparable to a monkey is a knock on their
intelligence. There is a history of bigoted white people degrading
black people with such a comparison and you know this or you would have
not have brought this up.

Ms. Rice is not white, moot issue. However, white people have never been
regarded as Monkey's in a derogatory manner, therefore her being white
would not have the same implication.

I never said this was should be outlawed, thats something you are just
now throwing in there. The subject we had been discussing is whether or
not this was offensive. The cartoon IS offensive to many.

My only argument is (and has been) that this cartoon IS offensive (if
only to some). No where did I say he didn't have a right to be
offensive. Nor did you (that I have seen) until this reply. Up until
this reply you have been suggesting that this cartoon was/is not
offensive NOT questioning its constitutional right to be so. I find it
odd that you would even try to slip that (implying i was trying to
censor this) into the discussion.
