Absolutely. Monkeys, while being very intelligent compared to other animals, are not on par with the intelligence of a human being. Suggesting a race is comparable to a monkey is a knock on their intelligence. There is a history of bigoted white people degrading black people with such a comparison and you know this or you would have not have brought this up.
