You are talking about the second one now? I grant you the first one seems racist to me too. Though I don't think I am any kind of authority on racism.
The second one -- Oliphant -- does belittle her and might strike me as sexist if I hadn't seen that photo. Seriously, she looked like a six year old getting a birthday present. If those are in fact her mannerisms, it's legitimate comment. I don't see racist in it. But what do other people think?
