There are no absolutes in racist remarks except: "All black women are incapable of doing anything but staying in the kitchen." Everything else is just a matter of interpretation and/or intent. Once in college I left a note for a friend's roommate, Dawn, addressed to "Delta Dawn". She got mad at me saying I was calling her a lesbian because "Delta" is a gay symbol. Is it? I had no idea. I don't view Aunt Jemima as racist and I think Ms. Rice resembles Aunt Jamima so I find the comment humorous. If someone else sees it as racist, ok, but it's completely arbitrary on both of our parts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Special thanks to the CF Community Suite Gold Sponsor - CFHosting.net http://www.cfhosting.net Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:137285 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
