Delta? I think that your friend got the symbol wrong. Its lamda that
is the symbol for lesbians. The only way I can figure out how she
thought Delta was a gay symbol is that the prink triangle is also a
gay pride symbol. In WW2 the nazis tried to exterminate the gay
population of Europe. Gays were required to wear pink triangles on
their concentration camp uniforms much like Jewish people had to wear
a yellow Star of David.
