Heck, pretty much any of the boutique builders use AMD. The big
players (Dell, Gateway, and Sony) tend to stay with Intel because of
1) buying power that lets them buy Intel product cheaper; 2) Intel has
great mindshare; and 3) notebooks.

IMO, the Centrino platform and the Pentium M are good not just because
of good marketing but because AMD based laptops suck batteries dry
like crazy.
