I figure a couple thousand nukes in the region would solve a lot of problems.
All terrorists would get to go up in a blaze of glory for Allah, or whatever god they believe in. We can collect the money that would be going to them to stimulate our economy. There are no innocents left to suffer needlessly. We would reduce our aging nuclear stockpile (put those wasted taxpayer dollars to good use, eh? wink-wink, nudge-nudge). We would save the lives of many people, both from the US and other countries. Heck .. if we were really smart, we could let Russia take a few shots. It would make them feel better and reduce some of their nukes too. The best part is, it leaves lots of land rich with oil that no longer belongs to anyone. Then the economy would get a futher boost by creating an entirely new industry devoted to developing and supporting technology that will allow us to safely collect the oil from a radiation contaminated area. No more OPEC, no inflated oil prices, no one to hold us by the nads when resources get tight ... even no more drilling in Alaska. Why screw up our own precious land when we can get our oil from some land that's already screwed up? While we are drilling below the surface, we could set up a whole bunch of nuclear reactors across the land to provide cheaper power that doesn't deplete natural resources .. I don't think anyone would mind .. it's not like an accident would make much of a difference .. better yet, a region full of solar panels!!! Yeah! Then, after about 150 years, we can colonize the area to reduce the burden of our booming poulation within our current borders .. or we could 'teraform' the entire mid-asianic region and turn it into a huge agricultural area, which will reduce the need to destroy the rain forrests. Man .. am I a genious or what? Of course I am. Todd for president in 2004 ----- Nuking the Middle East for a better tomorrow! (Just need to make sure we don't launch while Simon is there.) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary P.
