What is true is that Bush is just as guilty as all of his predecessors. They all raided SS, republicans and democrats alike. This is a problem exascerbated by Bush, but the way you stated it, it was caused by Bush. I like yer analogy though. Speaking only on a purely personal bases, the less money that goes "out there", and the more that stays with me, the better. I want every single dollar I earned under my control.
