That would be true were the playing field level. While it took me awhile to buy into AA, I do support it. Everyday I see people in society continue to treat people of color and minorities "differently". The small gestures, the comments, the stares.. It all adds up. Take the quote Gel posted... Just because you preach equality does not mean equality exists. The playing field is not level nor will it be until the older generation dies off... You know, the generation who stares at the biracial highschool couple?.. The parents who drive their kids to school because the bus driver is black? That is the list that goes on and on. How does a minority get a fair shot when the field itself is not fair. AA does nothing more than level off a field controlled by the arrogant white man, myself included. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:144341 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
