Actually the State (Greer) said let her die because (he) previously decided she's PVS and he can't overturn his own ruling, or doesn't want to. So the Fed stepped in and said "OK, evaluate this case again but this time don't tie yourself to your own ruling, use all the information available to determine if this human beings rights are being violated." That will now allow him to consider the 30 board certified neurologist that say we need tests to determine if she's PVS. The issue here is if she's PVS and Greer already decided based on testimony of three doctors that each spent less than an hour with her and two were biased. Now if you believe that Judge Greer is "The Man" and can't make a mistake and should be the sole person that grants life or death than I can't help you.
