I don't agree. Kicking out the illegal workers might cause businesses
to cry "foul" due to an inability to fill jobs. But we both know if
that were to happen, and the public truly wanted those workers working
again, we would CHANGE THE LAWS to allow more legal workers to enter
the country and fill those jobs.

Or it might cause businesses to pay a more livable wage (including
benefits) to make the jobs more attractive to all the unemployed we
have standing around as is.

>From everything I have read, most of the costs savings for an illegal
workforce are not passed to the consumer. They just drive the profit
margins up for those who own the company, and force the "Joe Sixpack"
consumer to pick up the tab in law enforcement, health care, education
and uninsured traffic accidents costs with little or no benefit.
