IMHO drugs don't fall into the category of moral laws, they fall into the
category of health and safety laws. Right up there with the laws against
serving raw chicken.

Now, why aren't cigarettes illegal, I dunno, health wise they probably
should be.

The Constitution claims that one of the jobs of the Federal Government is to
promote the general welfare. I think public health falls under this, and
when issues of public health are concerned, the federal government takes the
point.
