While I was stationed overseas there was a fairly standard point of view
that if an American was in an accident with a local it was the Americans
fault. Because after all if the American wasn't there it wouldn't have
happened.

Or not...

Yesterday on NPR one of the wailing mothers at the mass funeral for
those kids was screaming, [translated] "You Americans blew up these
children, how could blow up these children?!"

So do get your hopes too up.

The crazy thing about yesterday's incident is that somebody will use
it as justification to join the insurgency. That boggle my mind.
