While I admit that it's possible for someone to be in danger, the fact remains that she hasn't been an in-country agent since 1997 or 1998, and I think I read that the law specifies a 5-year waiting time for disclosing identity.
I don't want anyone thinking that I feel that KR is a good guy or what he did was morally right or wrong or whatever. I'm just saying that, without a crime being committed, the most he's guilty of is being a mean person. It seems that the Democrats (and I am one) are playing partisan politics, which is what we're accusing KR and GWB of doing. It's the pot calling the kettle black. When in Africa with her husband, during his assignments in central Africa, apparently her cover was as a business development officer for an American company. As such she met with a number of people, some for cover purposes, most however for activities related to her CIA assignments. Many countries do track contacts foreigners have with the locals. Suddenly all these people are in danger. So it doesn't matter whether she was in the field when Rove outed her, the network of contacts she built up in Gabon and Niger were placed in considerable danger. larry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:165262 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
