An international travel kit should cover it. Just make sure you have a
Brit plug in the kit. should cost about $30. got mine at Radio Shack.
The only thing that might be a problem is if the 220 plug you have has
slanted slots rather than squares (the brit plug in my kit has
squares)...

Now that being said, although I work in the energy industry and I
travel internationally quite a bit, I do give a hearty "+1" to the
idea of hiring an electrician to do the task...
