Don't for a second misread my comments to indicate that I'm not completely
passionate concerning this issue. I consider it a grave threat to our
educational system.

How pervasive was the gay marriage issue?

It was a small, regional issue until very smart conservatives leveraged it
into the public eye and won an election with it.

I think first you have to gain some understanding of the issues at hand.

ID does not teach religion. It simply doesn't. Rather it uses the methods
of science to promote the possibility of religious truth. That's exactly
why it's so subtle and insidious... an intelligent.

By simplifying the issue, as you've repeatedly done, down to "religion in
science class" you're 1) fighting the wrong battle and 2) insulting people
into rallying against your cause.

The instant the IDers are viewed as the rational, reasonable members of the
debate you've lost significant headway.
