Right, and i didn't mean to imply that just because currently there are only 
a handful of ID battlegrounds, that the issue isn't crucial. But you asked 
"how many battles must these stupid people win", and I pointed out that they 
haven't won very many, and the ones they have aren't lasting very long.

It IS subtle and insidious, as you describe. But why is it insidious? 
Because it DOES posit a belief system, when it purports not too. If you'd 
prefer me to say "belief system" or "faith based proposition" in place of 
"religion", I will.

You are getting hung up on the word "religion". I'm simplifying the issue to 
exactly what it is, the introduction of a faith-based "intelligent 
designer", into a science curriculum. I mean, that is the heart of the 
issue, isn't it? This simplification serves to expose the insidious nature 
of the proposition, which is the beauty of it.
