We can toss about all sorts of quotes, links, etc. In the end it all
comes down to this:

1.) What problem are we attempting to solve?
2.) What is the best policy to do that?

I'm saying the answers are: (1.) job market entry & poverty, and (2.)
education & infrastructure.

I don't know what problem you're attempting to solve but if I
understand your solution it's that the government should tax job
creators via a minimum wage.

I counter that by imposing a "living wage" on businesses you remove
those earning it from the competitive marketplace. Since their living
no longer depends on competition, they stop developing skills. Now
they are dependant on your handout.
