Yup, exactly. My point with the education is not to just get degrees
for degree's sake.

The big problem is people don't understand how money works and how to
compete. How they must be their own business: get a good or service
the market wants, market that good or service, negotiate for the best
price, etc. And NEVER quit watching the market. Is demand for your
goods falling? Should you add adjacent services? Are you
over-extended?

A minimum wage moves in the exact opposite direction. It rewards
people for lacking marketable skills.

To answer Dana's question about why a burger flipper should understand
finance and mortgages, because if they don't they'll go bankrupt and
then we all pay. We need their creativity in the market place and if
we don't give them the tools to show up, many won't.

They'll stay suckling at the teat of gov't imposed inflated wages
until the milk runs out. Dana suggests your small business pay for
the milk.
