I had thought it was being in a state of grace. So by that rationale, if a mass murderer one second, lets say one nanosecond before the trap is opened/switch is pulled/drugs are injected/etc/., repents then he goes to heaven. At the same time, lets say a real saint, does good works, lives the saintly life, sacrifices etc., gets really pissed off at something - stubs his toe - whatever and suddenly croaks, then he goes to hell.
Some logic there. No wonder the minister in the church I went to as a kid always tried to avoid talking with me after the services. larry On 10/10/05, Matthew Small <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > As far as I know, all mainstream Protestant denomiations are based on a > "Faith Alone" doctrine.
