Non ivy league PhD programs are having a hard time finding candidates as most now go to work for business since business will then send them to get their PhD. Many companies (e.g., TI, Raytheon, etc) will *require* that new hires begin pursuing their PhD within 5 years. Others have generous tuition programs such as P&G which will pay *all* costs for a relevant higher degree. This includes flights, meals, etc if the school is out of town. These are hard deals to beat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:192015 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
