The question isn't "enforce the law", it's "is the law serving the
people?"  Clearly, no - the existing immigration law doesn't allow for
the number people needed nor the future need.

So rather than continue to re-state the problem, let's move to a
solution.  Kicking out illegals isn't a solution because they're 5% of
our economy that we asked for.  Therefore, because of our own lax
attitude we need:

1.) Some type of amnesty or path to citizenship for existing
"undocumented" workers, and
2.) a rethinking of how many legal immigrants we want.

BTW, this isn't just a problem for Mexicans.  It's also a problem for
foreign PhD candidates and entrepreneurs.

The US is not allowing enough immigration for both the low, middle,
and high end.  If we don't change, it will be our loss.
