I see a lot of them losing their jobs to illegal workers. A bad job to
you may be a pretty good job to a lot of people. 40k a year is a lot of
money to a lot of people in this state. In Kentucky the average
household income is $37k.

$10 an hour washing cars gets you about 20k a year. The average income
in Kentucky is 21k a year. If car washes were paying $10 an hour you
wouldn't have illegal immigrants working them.
