Rights VS Responsibilities.

In order to have and protect those freedoms a trained armed force is
necessary. Prior to Vietnam it was always taught that every citizen has the
RESPONSIBILITY to serve.

I understand that there are conscientious objectors, and pacifists, well the
military needs medical personnel, finance personnel, administrative
personnel. Everyone should do some service to pay for all the great
freedoms and opportunities we have.

Dude, aren't you the one who is always worried about commies?

Forcing people to do something they doesn't sound an awful lot like
something a free country would do.

BTW, I'd agree that mandatory boot camp would shape this country up in more
ways than one, but forcing people to do something that they don't want to do
flies right in the face of freedom, IMO.
