Just a quick "I second what Scott says". When i was in high school I went to an ATA school, and the big selling point was "we'll have you a black belt in a year".
Some of the instructors were good...don't get me wrong...but the overall mindset was not necessarily to make sure the students were good with technique...it was to get them promoted. I got up to green belt, then switched to karate. The owner of the karate school said he'd honor my green belt. I can tell you in no uncertain terms, that the green belts in the karate school THOROUGHLY and COMPLETELY kicked my ass on a daily basis. not fun for Charlie :) On 7/10/06, Scott Stewart <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Denny, > > I surfed the single-dads.us site.
