Well I'll be honest I was under the impression that the child was 13. There is a big difference in the maturity level of 13 year old and a 16 year old. Since at 16, he could very well be able to make the decision on his own and understand the implications. If you are old enough to be tried in court as an adult then you are old to make your own decisions and in this case the court is over stepping its bounds. In this case we're talking about a 16 year old who came to a decision based on his own research and his parents are supporting that decision. So if your point is that the government should raise everyone's kids, will you be happy if the government decides that western medicine is no longer a viable treatment? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/message.cfm/forumid:5/messageid:211077 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
