I agree we are seeing the failure of the UN. However, I disagree with your
solution. I think we let the UN handle it. If the UN fails then more die, as
long as it isn't Americans or our Allies, I no longer care. Maybe at some
point if enough folks die the UN will grow the balls to force solutions in a
more timely manner.

In the meantime, we should stay the hell out of the way. If someone
demonstrates that they are a threat to us then we should handle it, F___ the
UN, we are protectign ourself. Forget PR, go in and get the job done. Our
politicians should make the decision to irradicate the problem then provide our
military with a clearly defined objective and let the military do what they do
best, kick ass. Let the military decide how many troops, planes, missiles etc..

Otherwise if the rest of the world wants to kill each other let them. I am no
longer concerned with what this tribe does to that tribe. Or what nation A
does to nation B. If you establish yourself as a threat to the USA or our
allies prepare to get your ass blown off the map. Otherwise, let the UN handle
it. Maybe after a few million more casualities the UN will learn to act fast
and decisively. Failure to do so only ends up in more casualties.
