If I missed the point it's because you obscured it by referencing the
celebrations as a sign of victory.

So was the leader of Hezbollah lying when he said "If i had known the
kidnapping would lead to war, I would not have authorized it." ??

It's certainly possible he was, I guess, but I thought that was an odd
statement from someone who you said wanted the war all along.

So the bottom line is this: when are western governments going to
