Iran's goal with a nuclear weapon is the same as North Korea's goal-
strategic deterrent to external threats to its autocratic regime. There was
at least one really good piece in Foreign Affairs about it - last summer, I
think.

Will we see the Lebanese rise up and eject Hezbollah? Doubtful in the short
run, but the debate has been opened in Lebanon itself about the necessity of
doing so.
