Pros
-------

- More sane tax policy that encourages investment and economic growth
- Govt. no longer viewed as the solution to every problem
- Lowering of regulatory barriers for competition in many industries
- Lowering of international trade tariffs & increased trade with the rest of
the world
- NAFTA (give Clinton credit for this one, too)

Cons
--------
- Morality-based decision-making iwhere it doesn't help (e.g. war on drugs)
- Greater intrusion into private lives (attempts to restrict gay rights,
abortion)
- Giving into the cronyism and corruption that they came into power to get
rid of
- Criminalizing personal behavior instead of treating it (war on drugs
again), leading to the highest incarceration rate in the entire world
