she apparently did not complete all the terms of a restitution agreement, but this doesn't necessarily make her a menace to society. I think that the one-third of women who report rapes may think again if they are going to have to worry about whether they ever missed a court date or forgot to pay a parking ticket. Some people have untidy lives, sure, but I don't think it's making excuses to say that there is such a thing as a sense of proportion.
