Math is a set of building blocks, where one discovery, one set of learned
tools, leads to the next level...onwards and upwards. You need basic math
before you can do algebra, you need algebra before you can do calculus.
Calculus is required to begin real world applications or to start into
abstract math.

It's a ridiculous proposition to remove one of the core building blocks in a
skyscraper of knowledge.

(ugh, maybe i should change my name to "G-Metaphor")
