But I'm also the guy who says that the government's role is to keep the playing field level. That means a strong educational system with well educated kids - only then are they armed to make good choices. As for vouchers, it's already worked quite well for decades in Milwaukee. Muslim schools can pop up already, and the government guarantees k-12 education, not in a particular school. In my opinion vouchers would get rid of poor performing teachers by getting rid of the teacher's union. Then it would get rid of poor performing schools. What you'd be left with is a strong school system. Kickbacks could be handled the same way they are in every other industry: make them illegal and prosecute violators. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:227777 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
