Ahhhhh a voucher man! I could have guessed. =] Social programs are probably one of the hardest to get right, so I'm not too surprised to hear they don't work too well. Having friends who feed at the government trough-- I know they're important, and from more than an idealogical perspective. But anyway, bang on about education, that's a key factor to people needing .gub support. But you're off bang on the vouchers. What a lame idea, especially in practice. You'll probably go "ohhh, now I see" when I say that my mother is a pubskool teech, but anyways-- I have connections in the trenches. Private school teechz I know too, but public has a special place for me. Anyways, the belief in vouchers follows the basic beliefs you've laid out, re: poor people are poor cuz they want to be, and other arguments that are so logical seeming they tend to get folks. Watching some of this stuff in practice tho-- life-- it becomes clear that it's a false logic. That's not really how it works. Sorta like a niave notion that democracy is "best" or takes care of "the little guy" or other, historically inaccurate, beliefs. And I can't believe you suggest tax incentives-- I mean-- dude, wouldn't, were you in power-- there wouldn't be so much taxing, right? I don't know, seems like you don't have a good example of your solution working, neh? Eh, well, good stuff. Hrmm... I just tasted boob milk. Kinda sweet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:227753 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
