Wait a second GG, aren't you the one who says your life is all about your choices? Well, if that's the case, then vouchers shouldn't be on the table. The parents need to make the choice to send their kids to private school If they can't afford it, oh well! That's the choice they made. > It's not the principle of taxes I'm against. Even if a program isn't working for group x, it's probably doing something for group y. And, in my opinion, just about anything that's based on removing > choice, competition, and not data driven will fail. Not having vouchers doesn't remove choice. The local school will always be there and that's what's been guaranteed by the government, nothing more. Plus, just think of how much corruption could come of the scenario. Let's say that everybody could get vouchers. What's to stop parents (the ones who don't really care right now about their kid's edu) from enrolling their kids in a school that provides some sort of kickback? Or heck how happy are the christians gonna be when muslim schools start popping up all over the place, or vice versa. I'm sure they'll be plenty of controversy. Sure, vouchers "sounds" like a great idea on the top level, but I don't have high expectations of the execution. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Upgrade to Adobe ColdFusion MX7 Experience Flex 2 & MX7 integration & create powerful cross-platform RIAs http:http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;56760587;14748456;a?http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/flex2/?sdid=LVNU Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:227773 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
