I guess that's what I am saying, if we established a safe base in the dessert we would be able to launch raids pretty much anywhere in the country at will. Between our armored units, and oru air assault abilities we could strike quickly on intel as t were gathered.
I mean, I guess this is basically how it was in Afghanistan, only we needed more troops and helicopters. -----Original Message----- From: Jerry Johnson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, March 05, 2007 1:59 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: My Cousin was hit by an IED in Iraq Hah! Now you are agreeing with Murtha? (That was his suggestion 2 years ago) Our best "trick" is lightning fast, overwhelming, brutal force. We need to get back to a strategy that takes advantage of that. The problem I see is - we are bogged down with guarding every corner, we don't have the forces to swoop. The wings are tired, and we are so busy spinning in every direction we cannot focus on stopping one.
