Browsers and web functionality? They were the first easily available free browser, producing a free version that Ran on windows, mac, and various unix systems.
It was the first browser to include CSS, DHTML, embedded video and audio, and was available for Free long before Netscape offered their product for free. Netscape didn't offer a free browser until 1998. The have one of the largest and first free email systems. Outlook is probably the best Business client out there. It isn't an email client. Exchange isn't an email server; two products that have no real competitor anywhere in the market. The windows mobile product line beats the Blackberry and the Palm OS, and the integration and third party app support put over any competitor for large and custom uses. Advertising, I don't know what you mean here. I like their marketing, I think they have some of the best marketing there is. As for search portals, I really don't know I think Google has the best search engine, but I think that will move again. IIRC Yahoo! Is still the most popular search engine/portal site there is. Microsoft has bought their way in on some of these areas. They licensed SpyGlass technology for IE. Who can forget DOS. But they figured out something early on, the software is they key, if your software can run on anybodies hardware then you can have your hand in every jar. > -----Original Message----- > From: Gruss Gott [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2007 9:32 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: New MacBook Pro 15! > > As a company they're such a bore.
