Well, just anecdotal of course, but:

1.) Every kid I've ever known that *had* a stay-at-home  parent was a
nice kid: minded well, was polite, was able to be in a conversation
with adults, etc.  Let's put that number at about 100 kids including
neighbors, etc.

2.) Every kid I've known that *hasn't* had stay-at-home parents has
annoyed the hell out of me.  This includes some close friends who's
kid does daycare with his Grandma who runs a daycare with an iron fist
(she's Catholic).

I've been cataloging this experience for about 10 years and haven't
found an exception yet.
