Yeah, I was thinking tactical intel vs. strategic.

You're lowest private should know your SOPs and TTPs and that's enough
to get your unit in a bunch of trouble when they take contact.

When I was a Private I was RTO and then driver for the 1SG. I knew the
radio frequencies and guardpost passwords and as the driver I knew
movement orders about 3 hours before the rest of the unit. Those are
tactical pieces of intelligence that an enemy could use. I have no
illusions I could last more than a few minutes under the care of a good
torturer.

Every Private probably has a wealth of situationally valuable tactical
knowledge. For example, the Private humping the M-60 probaly knows the
platoon's reaction tactics that would be valuable to know to set up an
ambush. The Private driving the 1SG knows the location of the fuel and
ammo dumps, field kitchen, maintenence point and supply depot. The gun
bunny Private knows exactly what rounds his battery was issued.

>So what do you think the average Private knows that is worth being
>tortured? Ego aside. Nobody wants to think they'll crack, but trust
me
>if they want you to you will.
