Well, there is the cost of living, which should be the main factor, and
is usually under-rated by the FED. I mean, depending on where you
are living in NY, 82,000 may well be too poor to afford health care.
I know that even at 40 gees a year, if I didn't have an employer who
offered the beni's, I'd need "assistance" if shit went down. Hell, it
was over 10 grand for one baby- FEAR having to pay that yourself,
or paying "most of it" using what's generally available to the individual.
Seriously tho, not taking cost of living into it (hey, telecommute, or
plain old commute, right? ) makes numbers all screwy, and then,
what about how fucked "the divide" has gotten- these loans from
fanny may... crap, the conservatives who were supposed to keep
this nastyness from happening just looked the other way.
It's never been this awful before, even with crazy liberals in office-
and this is with a "conservative" administration!?!?!
I'm still wondering how people who voted for Bush 2 twice{!} could
say a damn thing about anything. Doesn't stop 'em, but man...
Lets see some reform where it would make a difference, k?
Let the states do what they want more too, and cut them off a
bit, ya know. Screw the pork projects... bah. This can go on
for a long time. The obvious stuff, lets forget about, and the
trendy, "news worthy" stuff, yeah, lets push that.
For all the money we toss EVERY FREAKING DAY- oh, I don't
know, I'm just like, give me a break. Take the corp$ out of the
back pocket, why-don't-they- that would really help. Or, how
about getting transparent in the dealings that get done? Huh?
Why must we pick on the middle even more? Oh, yeah- duh!
