But given that supposition --It isn't even an economic argument, thought there is one there to be made -- Are we honoring our dead, are we making America safer, and we doing ANY good. We have intervened on one side in a sectarian conflict. We've done that before. On behalf of the Taliban, for instance. My personal opinion is that the US needs a more granular understanding of other cultures before it attempts to manipulate them. And that is while leaving all moral and economic considerations to the side.
