oh I am sure there are. I am not disputing that at all; there were several cited in your links.
But Rush is saying that the only people who are ever critical of the war or administration are phony soldiers. And it seems to me that so far we have one member of Veterans for Peace who did in fact sign up, but was kicked out out after six weeks. In any case, imho if you at least are wiling to go you are less a phony soldier than a pompous ass who dodged service over a pimple. And the people in my links are real soldiers or families of soldiers as far as I know. I think that the head of the New Mexico National Guard qualifies as a real soldier. I think that anyone who served in Iraq (or Afghanistan) is most likely a real soldier. I think that Rush would be beyond contemptible if he claimed otherwise if he been himself, and is utter slime for making the statement, given his service record.
