Well, you're on the right track there, particularly staying away from the stuff that has lots of grain in it. I personally though won't buy food with stuff like "by-products" in it. That's basically a way of saying all the stuff they normally throw out like skin, bones, feet, beaks, etc. that is unfit for human consumption. It's just not a good quality food source. Ideal is to feed something with at least the first 3 ingredients (if not more) being a full-fledged meat source (chicken, chicken broth, chicken liver, etc.) Of the premium brands you can find at places like PetSmart, Nutro Natural Choice is probably the best. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:248688 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
