Agreed - and I'll second pretty much everything else Mary Jo said above. As many of you probably know, I breed and show pedigree cats and my wife's a cat show judge. Right now we're feeding Evolve Chicken and Evolve Turkey as well as Pet Food Express's own "professional" brand kibble (dry food - both "kitten" and "adult" since we have quite a broad mix of ages) as well as Royal Canin Active Maturity (we have a number of older cats, one with arthritis, but pretty much everyone loves the Active Maturity... typical, it's about twice the price of the other stuff we feed). You pretty much can't have too many cat toys. Once your kitten gets a little bigger, consider one of the really big, tall cat trees with plenty of climbing and scratching options and turrets and hammocks and so on - so the cat has plenty of "above ground" space of its own. Another tip is to keep a sturdy cat carrier out and about with the door open and a bed in it - so the cat doesn't fear the carrier and can view it as another "safe" space to sleep / hide / hang out. That'll make it easier to take the cat to the vet - or out visiting friends (we take several of our cats out and about - we have harness trained them and take them to restaurants with outdoor patios, Home Depot and so on). -- Sean A Corfield -- (904) 302-SEAN An Architect's View -- http://corfield.org/ "If you're not annoying somebody, you're not really alive." -- Margaret Atwood ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;160198600;22374440;w Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:248689 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
