a while back there was a thread where the master cleanse diet came up.  it's
a detoxification diet moreso than a weight loss diet (but weight loss is a
nice side benefit).

to recap:  you don't eat any solid foods.  you only drink a mixture of
water, fresh squeezed lemons, grade b maple syrup (available at trader joe's
or whole foods type stores) and cayenne pepper.  you can also drink as much
water as you want :)

in a week and a half, i have a physical for life insurance coming up.
trying to get my weight down to get some better premiums.  started the
"cleanse" 5 days ago.  dropped 9.5 lbs so far.

i'm shooting for a full 14 days.  gonna break the fast on thursday feb 21
(which means i get to drink orange juice)... then on friday feb 22 i can
have some vegetable soup.  saturday is the physical... then saturday night
i'm going out to dinner :)
