Charles' sister has done this, but found it too hard to keep going because it made her gag to drink the required liquids.
What I don't understand, is why not simply eat healthy food and portions and up the exercise? I'd bet you would lose just as much weight, and be healthier for it ... even if you just did a chicometrics routine every night if you couldn't get to a gym. I mean to each their own of course, and I'm pulling for you to reach your goal Charlie, but I've heard about this "diet/detox" regime for months now (Robin on Howard Stern had them living with her whilst she did) and well, how healthy is it really? What about vitamins? and nutrients? I know it's short term, but but but ... well, just but! :) Am I the only one that thinks it's too extreme? I've been told and have read time and time again, the body naturally detoxifies itself. That's the purpose of the liver and sweating, etc. Bottom line of course, I fully support you Charlie! But what you gonna do when you're all done? What's the plan Stan?
