"They" -- That is sooooo insensitive! Lumping them all in together like that.

"Terrorist" is such a loaded term. I remember battles about what a
"hacker" is...

Seriously tho-- using shotgun terms does little but fuel the FUD.

So long as it's "us against them", and the war drums beat, we shall
know no peace.

And I am *so* sick of this "looking weak" shit. Bush 2 really pushed
that agenda.

We are the flecking US of A, man! ( 'course, I've always known that
real strength is doing things like saying "I was wrong" and shit like
that. )

Real strength doesn't need to look strong, basically. (Quite often
doesn't, in my experience.)

We *are* Real Strength. Baddest Nation of the Bunch.

We will literally destroy any who oppose us.

The problem is actually getting real opposition (without getting into
a nuclear/economic battle).

Playing up all this "terrorist" shit is just a way of keeping the
ever-lasting non-war running, straight out of the book "1984".

Winning minds is less about blowing people to bits. Fighting a war IS
about blowing people to bits.

Please, PLEASE tell me we're not waging a war on "terror", o.k.? The
idea is non-sense. Patently.

We're very good at taking out "real" (in the sense of NOT some
general, non-objective term like "terror") things, militarily. Let us
have those, and say we're at a war with them, vs. this "terror"
BULLSHIT. :-)

My god. Here I am, my own damn government *spying* on me, invading my
privacy, and disrespecting the basic tennets of my
country/citizenship. -- and how, why? Blame ~them~. The Excuse.

"It's for your own good."
