How do you fight a bully that keeps putting kids in front of your punches? How do you fight a bully that's more than happy to kill his own people to get to you? Iraq is BS. We can do the job and get out if we wanted to but it would take a united will on the part of this country and especially its political powers. Want to get out? Train replacements. Want to get rid of the 'insurgents' who are coming from other countries? I fail to see how we can't track them coming in with drones, IR and other technologies. We do the job right, train replacements, support those who want to help us (the kurds come to mind) and then get out. But that ain't happening. Better yet, we should just say "fuck ya'll, we're going home" and let the Iraqis fight it out with Iran who will try to invade immediately. Let the Kurds fight it out with Turkey for their own homeland (they've been waiting longer than the Palestinians). Let the Arab world beg us back as Iran flexes its muscle and tries to take it all over.
