Depending on the price you can probably take them to small claims
court. Since you don't have a contract you are going to need to show
up with as much evidence that an agreement was entered in to and that
they truely owe you the money.

Odds are they won't show up so you will get a default judgement which
means the court will help you collect.

Though as they say "Winning is nothing, collecting is everything"
